Possess ability to perform various assessment techniques, including cardiac rhythms and airway management, to identify potential/actual problems related to anesthesia and relevant surgical procedure.

Consult anesthesiologist/physician when appropriate using assertive communication skills.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and hold a current Michigan state nursing license, along with current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross. A minimum of six months of experience in an acute care setting is required, and ACLS certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
