About the Role
Join American Addiction Centers as a Occupational Therapist, Inpatient in United States. Department: 37498 High Point Medical Center - Inpatient Rehabilitation: PT/OT/SLP Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Full time days with rotation in on weekends. Pay Range $38.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the performance of specialized tests, such as manual muscle testing, goniometry and teaching occupational therapy procedures to the patient, family and other health personnel.
- Performs both individual and comprehensive evaluations with multidisciplinary team members.
- Provides written summary of diagnostic findings to be incorporated into team plan.
- Plans intervention strategies and communicates effectively with families regarding the child's strengths and weaknesses; work may be performed in homes, agencies, preschools or clinics.
