Physician Assistant (PA)

About the Role

Join Premise Health as a full-time Physician Assistant in Missoula, Montana. Provide occupational health care to client employees and their dependents in a health center setting. Enjoy a unique schedule of Monday through Wednesday, 7am to 6pm (three 10-hour shifts), offering a shorter workweek.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures.
• Perform procedures including injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments and medications.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.

Requirements

• Current NCCPA national certification.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license.
• Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License if applicable.
• Current Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required.
• Minimum three years clinical experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department.
