About the Role

Join Riverside Mental Health & Recovery Center in Hampton, Virginia as a Consult & Liaison Psychiatrist. This labor pool position offers flexibility and autonomy with 12-hour shifts on a 7-on/7-off schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric consults for inpatient and emergency department patients across four acute care hospitals.
Conduct in-person and virtual consults.
Manage complex psychiatric and medical conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Participate in after-hours and weekend call coverage.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Licensed or eligible to practice medicine in Virginia.
Valid DEA registration.
