About the Role
Join Sanford Health as a Senior Genetic Counselor – Day Shifts in United States.
Key Responsibilities
-, which include participating in program development, coordination, and administration of genetic counselor activities.
- Promotes program services, monitoring referral sources, inquiries regarding program and patient volume in order to enhance service utilization.
- Engages in active mentoring, professional development, and provides expert assistance to other genetic counselors in their region on department.
- Answer media requests via Sanford marketing for interviews on genetic topics.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Medical Genetics from program accredited by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) is required.
- Possesses ABGC Board certification with a minimum of four years of experience.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in taking on tumor board or committee, national committee, lab reports and projects.
- In charge of “specialty” pharmacognetics.
