Key Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the licensed Physical Therapist.

Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities with clients, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and coordination.

Provide guidance and education to clients and their families on proper techniques for exercises, transfers, and ambulation.

Assess and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant program and hold current licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Michigan. Required qualifications also include CPR certification, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
