About the Role

Join American Addiction Centers as a Medical Assistant – M-F Schedule, No Weekends in United States. Department: 01120 WFBMG Wake Forest Health Network: High Point Phillips Avenue - Family Medicine Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday through Friday. 8:00am to 5:00pm Pay Range $22.

Key Responsibilities

Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care.

Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered.

Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking.
