About the Role
Join Virginia Commonwealth University as a Electrophysiologist – Academic Cardiology in United States. Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine is a premier academic medical center located in the heart of Richmond. Accounting for almost half of VCU’s sponsored research, the School of Medicine is internationally recognized for patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities
- & Responsibilities: Teaching: To support teaching directly via interactions with Fellows, Housestaff and non-physician professionals.
- Periodically will be expected to present appropriate reviews in patient management discussions at Cardiology and Department of Internal Medicine conferences.
- In addition, will be expected to participate in University Continuing Medical Education programs for practicing physicians.
- Research: To support clinical research protocols in electrophysiology.
Requirements
- BC/BE cardiologist with demonstrated skills in the areas of Electrophysiology
- Clinically oriented and possess sufficient research and teaching experience to be eligible for academic appointment
- Communicate effectively and work with a large multidisciplinary program
- Participate in teaching and Fellowship programs
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Call responsibilities required.
