About the Role
Join UnityPoint Health as a Mental Health Therapist-Output Peds Mental Health-Independent in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform psychosocial and diagnostic assessments
- Diagnose patients in accordance with the current DSM
- Involve collateral sources in patient’s treatment as clinically indicated (e. g., family, friends, etc.)
- Develop individual treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
Requirements
- Education: Master of Science Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy Required with a clinical/mental health concentration from an accredited school.
- Experience: 2 years post graduate degree experience required.
- 1 year of experience working with a site’s clientele is preferred.
- (For example, if this job is a pediatric site of care experience with pediatrics is preferred.
