About the Role

Join Henry Community Health as a Respiratory Therapist – PRN Days in United States. Responsibilities Work under general supervision to provide day to day respiratory care to hospital patients of all ages with disorders of the pulmonary system. Perform respiratory therapy and procedures independently in addition to general cleaning and maintenance of related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Work under general supervision to provide day to day respiratory care to hospital patients of all ages with disorders of the pulmonary system.

Perform respiratory therapy and procedures independently in addition to general cleaning and maintenance of related equipment.

Receive verbal orders from physicians for respiratory treatments according to specific policies.

Perform pulmonary function testing on patients.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to read, write, and follow complex medical instructions, possessing a thorough understanding of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment. Required qualifications include completion of an AMA-accredited respiratory therapy school or its equivalent, Indiana State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, and current BLS certification.
