This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

About the Role

This Clinical Psychologist position serves children from birth to twenty-one years within the Educational Developmental and Intervention Services (EDIS) Program at the U. S. Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan. This is a permanent, full-time role with no telework or remote eligibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of clinical psychological diagnostic and consultation services to eligible children.
  • Assist as a consultant and authoritative resource to the EDIS interdisciplinary evaluation team.
  • Conduct psychological assessments for children referred from the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS).

Requirements

  • Must be a U. S. Citizen or owe allegiance to the U. S.
  • Drug testing required.
  • No security clearance required.
