About the Role
Join FCC Behavioral Health as a Crisis Counselor (Tier 2 QMHP) in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mobile crisis intervention services, including crisis assessments, safety evaluations, and brief stabilization interventions as a Tier 2 Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
- Conduct trauma‑informed crisis assessments for individuals impacted by domestic violence, including evaluation of suicide risk, emotional distress, and immediate safety needs.
- Deliver short‑term, solution‑focused crisis counseling and de‑escalation interventions using person‑centered and trauma‑informed approaches.
- Serve as an embedded Mobile Crisis Counselor at Haven House two days per week, providing on‑site crisis response services while remaining part of the Mobile Crisis Response Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, required.
- Meets QMHP (Tier 2) requirements for Mobile Crisis Response, required.
- Ability to conduct crisis, safety, and suicide risk assessments, required.
- Experience working with survivors of domestic violence, preferred.
