About the Role

Job Summary: A Home Health Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed occupational therapy program for homebound patients. Essential Responsibilities: Acts to decrease pain, restores function, and prevents disability.
Key Responsibilities
- Acts to decrease pain, restores function, and prevents disability.
- Performs technical diagnostic test to determine the needs of each patient prior to treatment.
- Develops treatment programs, provides treatments and guides home health aides.
- Evaluates, records and reports progress to physician and other departments.
Requirements
- (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanentes policies and procedures.
- This position is a UTSC bargaining unit represented position.
- Basic Qualifications: Experience Two (2) years of experience as Occupational Therapist (OT) in an acute care, outpatient or rehab setting.
- Education Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a bachelors or masters degree with certification in occupational therapy OR foreign-trained equivalent.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
