Key Responsibilities

• Formulates a plan of care based on nursing assessments and Veteran goals of care.
• Seeks guidance on how to improve care provided to patients and families.
• Delegates elements of care to the appropriate individual based upon assessed needs, condition, and safety of the patient
• Demonstrates performance and leadership that is broad enough to improve the care for specialty care outpatients
• Provides peers with formal or informal constructive feedback for improvement.
• Supports colleagues and other nurses through knowledge sharing to provide safe, quality specialty nursing care.
