Patient Care Technician - PCT

About the Role

Join Fresenius Medical Care as a Patient Care Technician at the Champlin, MN clinic. This role supports the dialysis healthcare team by providing safe and effective dialysis therapy under nurse supervision. No prior dialysis experience is needed; on-the-job training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and operate hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patient vital signs and vascular access.
• Assist in patient education regarding dialysis adequacy.
• Document treatment parameters accurately.
• Participate in infection control and quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G. E. D.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within required timeline.
• CPR certification.
• Previous patient care experience preferred but not required.
