Key Responsibilities

  • Provides medical care to patients with acute medical problems or acute exacerbations of chronic illnesses.
  • Examines patients, formulates diagnostic plans, and orders diagnostic testing.
  • Interprets examination findings and test results and implements treatment plans.
  • Provides acute care for patients across the entire lifespan, including infants and pregnant patients.

Requirements

  • Completed Master’s or Doctoral level Nursing Practice Degree and Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
  • Active, Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License in Massachusetts.
  • OR Completed Master's level Physician Assistant Degree and Physician Assistant Certification Active, Unrestricted Physician Assistant License in Massachusetts.
