About the Role
Join Unknown as a Advanced Practice Provider, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Trauma Registry in United States. Job Description Join University of Chicago Medicine, as an Advanced Practice Provider in the Trauma Surgery Unit. As the Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for comprehensive direct patient care management in the general medicine patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- will be responsible for comprehensive direct patient care management in the general medicine patient population.
- will manage a caseload of patients and exercise autonomous decision making in the assessment, diagnosis, and initiation of delegated medical treatments.
- will provide healthcare and patient services that may include educational, research, and clinical nursing specialist support, and completing administrative activities under the direction and supervision of the Director/leadership.
- Must be certified as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Must have or be able to qualify for Illinois and DEA prescribing numbers Must have a minimum of 2 years inpatient Trauma experience as a PA or NP.
Requirements
- ATLS certification is required within a year from date of hire.
- Must have AGACNP certification but FNP or ANP will be considered with relevant Trauma Surgery experience as a PA or NP.
