Key Responsibilities
- Practice in accordance with the Regulated Health Professions Act, Gerontological Nurses Association (GNA) Standards, The Long
- Term Care Homes Act, the Practice Standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and standards set out for the Nurse Practitioner
- Assist in avoiding hospital admissions for current LTC residents who have new or increasingly complex medical or specialized equipment needs which cannot currently be accommodated in their LTC home
