Key Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating clients’ daily living skills and capacities to determine their abilities and limitations. Support patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment and report observations to the Physical Therapist.

Requirements

An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required. Candidates must have unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice in Rhode Island and CPR and first aid certification.
