About the Role

Join UnityPoint Health as a Respiratory Therapist in United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration of oxygen, respiratory medicines, bronchial hygiene, and collection of blood for arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis for all ages.

• Maintenance of invasive and non-invasive ventilators.

• Assist in airway management for all ages.

• Perform EKGs and bedside monitoring of patients’ vital signs, and assessment of the respiratory system for all ages.

Requirements

• Certified: Associates degree in respiratory therapy.

• 1 year experience preferred.

• Licensed in the state of Iowa as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with the NBRC at time of hire.
