Key Responsibilities

Oversees nutritional management within the department and exercises daily responsibility for allocation of resources and coordination of activities.

Responsible for nutritional care and support of hospital patients, counseling and instructing patients and outpatients on modified diets.

Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Knowledge of Chemistry and Biology Knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance plans.
