This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

About the Role

Join UW Health as a Hospital Medicine NP/PA – 1:4 Weekends in Madison, Wisconsin. Work Schedule: 100% FTE, working 8 or 10 hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM with at least 1:4 weekend rotations and some holidays. You will work at University Hospital and East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

Requirements

  • If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.
  • If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program. Licenses and Certifications: Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse Practitioner
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
