Join Texas Health Resources as a Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit Full Time - Nights in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care · BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required · ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire What You Will Do · Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process · Assesses the patient · Plans the care of the patient · Intervenes as appropriate · Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions · Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care · Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information · Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers · Intermediate care focused · Management of various drips Additional perks of being a Texas Health Nurse · Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, as well as several other benefits.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Nursing Diploma and an Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program, with a BSN preferred, along with one year of experience as an RN or completion of an RN residency program. Required certifications include BCLS prior to independent care and ACLS within 90 days, and one year of strong Medical Telemetry experience in an Acute Care setting is strongly preferred.
