Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the patient’s physician in obtaining legal guardianship, adoptions, and competency determinations Documents social work activity in accordance with standards of University Hospital.

Requirements

  • Must be Licensed as an LSW “Licensed Social Worker” or LCSW “Licensed Clinical Social Worker” licensure by the State of New Jersey.
  • Discharge planning experience in an acute care setting highly desirable.
  • Required to follow a varied schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Benefits & Compensation

  • (NJ Job Transparency Law): In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $40.
