Join University Hospital, Newark NJ as a Social Worker I, Per-Diem in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborates with the patient’s physician in obtaining legal guardianship, adoptions, and competency determinations Documents social work activity in accordance with standards of University Hospital.

Requirements

Must be Licensed as an LSW “Licensed Social Worker” or LCSW “Licensed Clinical Social Worker” licensure by the State of New Jersey.

Discharge planning experience in an acute care setting highly desirable.

Required to follow a varied schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Benefits & Compensation

(NJ Job Transparency Law): In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $40.
