SUD Psychiatrist (Part-Time, Remote)

About the Role

Pelago seeks a part-time, remote board-certified psychiatrist specializing in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. Provide telehealth psychiatric care averaging 10 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric care via virtual visits.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage medications for SUD and co-occurring conditions.
• Prescribe and monitor Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
• Address concurrent mental health issues.
• Collaborate with counselors and coaches for coordinated care.
• Participate in clinical excellence activities.
• Maintain clinical documentation.
• Educate patients tailored to their needs.
• Collaborate on projects to improve care delivery.
• Help refine clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Board-certified psychiatrist with expertise in SUD.
• X-waiver required.
• Active U. S. medical license; multi-state licensure preferred.
• DEA registration.
• Telemedicine experience.
• Strong communication skills.

Benefits & Compensation

• Pay range: $175 - $215 per hour.
