About the Role

Join Mayo Clinic as a Speech Pathologist in United States. The SLP will be able to identify patients/customers: Inpatients, Outpatients, Home Care/Hospice patients, and Sub-Acute patients (neonates to geriatrics). The SLP is responsible for performing age-specific assessment designed to gather data relevant to the patient's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

assigned to supportive staff (Rehabilitation Techs, LATs, etc.

The SLP may be asked to create and participate in Community Engagement activities that focus on education/support groups.

The SLP will participate in operational and performance improvement aspects of the department.

The SLP will maintain awareness of budgetary and fiscal responsibility as it pertains to wages, overtime, productivity, and continuing education.

Requirements

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a valid state license or eligibility for one in Wisconsin. Additionally, applicants must have current BLS certification and be eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
