About the Role

Join Mayo Clinic as a Speech Pathologist in United States. The SLP will be able to identify patients/customers: Inpatients, Outpatients, Home Care/Hospice patients, and Sub-Acute patients (neonates to geriatrics). The SLP is responsible for performing age-specific assessment designed to gather data relevant to the patient's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • assigned to supportive staff (Rehabilitation Techs, LATs, etc.
  • The SLP may be asked to create and participate in Community Engagement activities that focus on education/support groups.
  • The SLP will participate in operational and performance improvement aspects of the department.
  • The SLP will maintain awareness of budgetary and fiscal responsibility as it pertains to wages, overtime, productivity, and continuing education.
