Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist: Creating, administering and organizing individualized plans of treatment for patients.

• Instructing clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading and voice improvement.

• Educating patients and family members about various topics such as communication techniques and strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstandings.

• Communicating with the dietary department in regard to rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions.

Requirements

• Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist: Current Speech Language Pathologist License in current state.

• Current CPR certification.

• At least one (1) year of Skilled Nursing experience preferred.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $37 - $52/hr

• Signing bonus: $5,000.
