About the Role

Join Baker Center for Children and Families as a Classroom Behavior Specialist/Milieu Counselor in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Maintains a safe, respectful, responsible, and inclusive learning environment by supporting students and working proactively to reduce behavioral difficulties.

Implements behavioral response procedures.

Provides crisis intervention and support, as necessary.

Utilizes physical management techniques in compliance with Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) procedures.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, though not required. Experience:

1+ year(s) of related experience working with children/adolescents.

Ability to lead and manage in crisis situations

Must be flexible and able to respond to behavioral challenges quickly and safely. Training:
