About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • The Speech Language Pathologist must be a specialist in human communications, including normal development and deficits in communication.
  • Work responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of physician referrals for patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, or swallowing.
  • The Speech Language Pathologist must work as a member of an interdisciplinary team with other professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • What We Are Looking For: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication preferred.
  • One to three years in a hospital setting.
  • Current BLS certification required within three (3) months of hire.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for the clinical fellowship year.

Work Schedule

  • Per Diem position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.
