Physician Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

The specialist schedules complex patient appointments for pediatric neurology subspecialties, coordinating simultaneously with procedures and other disciplines across multiple locations. They also manage electronic documentation, process insurance referrals and prior authorizations, and act as a resource for clinical staff and call center personnel.

Requirements

A high school diploma is required, though an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred, along with two years of relevant experience and one year of preferred leadership experience. Candidates must be able to work with minimal direction, independently prioritize tasks, and possess demonstrated customer relations skills.
