About the Role
Join Corewell Health as a Physician - Chief and Chair of Pathology - Royal Oak in United States. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a full-time pathologist that will also serve as the Chief and Chair of the service line. Pathologists with expertise in other pathology subspecialties are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees the medical student education for the department and ensures that all sites meet the needs of the local programs and are following LCME and other applicable standards.
- Ensures departmental support for medical student education, instruction and research including, but not limited to, teaching related activities, committees, career advising, and mentoring.
- Promotes collaboration with medical school research and community service programs including facilitating and supporting department faculty participation in medical student projects.
