Join Humboldt Park Health as a Speech Therapist - Registry/Per Diem in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats communicative, cognitive and language disorders following established protocols, safe practice guidelines and best practice.
- Performs swallowing assessment: bedside swallow, FEES and/or video fluoroscopy.
- Administers audiometric screening.
- Communicates evaluation result, swallowing precaution and dietary recommendation to the patient’s nurse and physician.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience
- Degree from an accredited SLP program
- Current IL SLP license and board certified Preferred:
- Bedsides swallow assessment, FEES, video fluoroscopy, dysphagia management, sign language skills
Work Schedule
- per-diem schedule.
