Key Responsibilities

• provide direct and indirect care to patients.

• Conduct research to ensure patient information is complete and to identify services being rendered Verify an.

• provide an estimate for potential services Collect estimated patient liability and provide financial counsel.

• Provide education about financial assistance and payment options available to Duke patients Collect patient.

Requirements

• Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally required through a high school education, with some postsecondary education preferred.

• Additional training or working knowledge of related business.

• Two years of experience working in a hospital service access, clinical service access, physician office or billing and collections.

• Or an Associate's degree in a healthcare related field and one year of experience working with the public.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Day shift only - no nights.
