About the Role

Join University Hospital, Newark NJ as a Respiratory Therapist Registered PD in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • The primary purpose of a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RTR) position is to provide direct patient care.
  • Works primarily in the Intensive Care unit (ICU), collaborates with nurses and physician in the implementation of individualized care plans.

Requirements

  • Must possess the ability, education and training required to meet the needs of patients of all ages based on age and developmental status.
  • Successful completion of study from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
  • Must possess the Registry (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Must have a valid license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care.
