About the Role
Join Denver Health Behavioral Health Services as a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist providing psychiatric care across multiple hospital units including medical floors, ICUs, labor & delivery, pediatrics, and correctional care. This role offers academic appointments at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and opportunities for teaching, research, and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care for hospitalized patients with complex medical and psychiatric conditions.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement evidence-based treatments.
- Consult with primary medical/surgical teams and generate recommendations.
- Provide teaching and supervision to psychiatry residents, psychology interns, APPs, and medical students.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and scholarly work.
- May cover other inpatient psychiatry services as needed.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from accredited medical school.
- Board certified or eligible in Psychiatry.
- Completion of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship preferred.
- Eligible for Colorado medical license.
- BLS certification.

- Salary range: $237,900 - $280,700 annually.
