Key Responsibilities

• Provides direct Community-Based (in the field) mental health assessments, intervention, and consultation to individuals identified by the court system as in need of a potential involuntary commitment.

• Evaluates each client for diagnosis, recommends appropriate service (including interviewing client and accompanying family or friends; providing crisis intervention; arriving at recommendation.

• Interacts with patients, family, and support systems to reduce barriers and promote progression of care.

Requirements

• Licensed Master Social Worker (Provisional License for IA) LSW

• Licensed Social Worker (Provisional License for IL) LCSW

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Independent License for IL) LISW

• Licensed Independent Social Worker (Independent License in IA) Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work
