Key Responsibilities

Performs thorough assessment of patient's functional conditions to set plan of treatment with appropriate short and long-term goals.

Updates patient's progress and goals, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.

Documents charges with each initial evaluation and daily treatment as appropriate and as observed by supervisor and other department personnel.

Requirements

) ADL's/IADL's to have patient reach highest level of independence.

Gives at least one in-service annually to staff.

Voluntarily assist other therapists/assistants in completing their work and serves as a clinical expert for less experienced staff, as observed by supervisor and staff.

Participates in the clinical education program (student program) as reported by the coordinator for clinical education.
