Key Responsibilities
- Performs thorough assessment of patient's functional conditions to set plan of treatment with appropriate short and long-term goals.
- Updates patient's progress and goals, as evidenced by appropriate documentation.
- Documents charges with each initial evaluation and daily treatment as appropriate and as observed by supervisor and other department personnel.
Requirements
- ) ADL's/IADL's to have patient reach highest level of independence.
- Gives at least one in-service annually to staff.
- Voluntarily assist other therapists/assistants in completing their work and serves as a clinical expert for less experienced staff, as observed by supervisor and staff.
- Participates in the clinical education program (student program) as reported by the coordinator for clinical education.
