About the Role
Join Akido as a Registered Dietitian focused on Preventive and Lifestyle Medicine in New York City. This role is unique, serving independent drivers through a lifestyle medicine-informed program that addresses nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group nutrition care across in-person, virtual, and community settings.
- Lead shared medical visits focused on nutrition within a Lifestyle Medicine framework.
- Design culturally relevant nutrition education and support chronic disease prevention.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, advanced practice clinicians, health coaches, and social workers.
- Help develop and scale nutrition workflows and digital tools.
- Participate in community outreach and pilot new group nutrition care models.
