About the Role

Join Miracle Hill Ministries as a Counselor Transitional Housing 2nd Shift in United States. Miracle Hill Ministries is South Carolina's largest and most comprehensive provider of homeless services. At our core, we exist to serve people experiencing homelessness-physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities

  • and Responsibilities: Provide counseling support to MH guests who reside in Overcomers Transitional housing.
  • Have a willingness to share the good news of Jesus Christ, give a personal testimony and pray with/for those served by the ministry.
  • Be comfortable and willing to lead a guest to the Lord.
  • Duties will be performed primarily during 2nd shift hours and on Saturdays due to guest employment during weekdays.

Requirements

  • Education or equivalent experience: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field, A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Years of experience: 3-5 years in a related field.
  • Clean driving record to be able to be on Miracle Hill insurance and willing to drive.
  • Mental health training and/or experience in professional mental health fields is preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.
