Join Avenues Recovery Center as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant providing medical care and medication management in detox and residential substance use disorder treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medical monitoring and medication management in detox and residential care.
• Stabilize patients with substance use disorders to support engagement in treatment.
• Order and review medications, labs, and urine drug screens.
• Document all medical care in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards.
• Manage daily and weekly patient schedules efficiently.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Colorado.
• Valid Colorado medical license.
• Active DEA registration.
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment or behavioral health preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
