Join University of Minnesota Physicians as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Neurosurgery) -.75 FTE in United States. University of Minnesota Physicians seeks a Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner to join the University of Minnesota Neurosurgery team. In this role, you will provide neurosurgery care for adult inpatients at the University of Minnesota Medical Center-East Bank location.

Key Responsibilities

  • will provide neurosurgery care for adult inpatients at the University of Minnesota Medical Center-East Bank location.
  • will be working closely with academic neurosurgeons and experienced Advanced Practice Providers, caring for adult patients with a diverse range of neurosurgical disorders.

  • provide comprehensive health care services to patients.

Requirements

  • A qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Practitioner training program or a graduate of an accredited Physician's Assistant program.
  • Be certified through ANCC/AANP or eligible for ANCC/AANP national exam or through the NCCPA and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
  • Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 1 year experience as a PA or NP is preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Weekend coverage may be required.
