Residential Counselor I/II AON

About the Role

Residential Counselor I/II positions at WellPower support individuals with severe and persistent mental illness in a 30-day transition shelter in Denver, Colorado. You will facilitate group therapy, assist with daily living activities, monitor medications, and create a safe environment for recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
• Manage intakes and discharges.
• Monitor medications and coordinate treatment.
• Advocate for individuals with mental illness.
• Maintain household safety and trauma-informed environment.

Requirements

• RC I: Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field; or seeking CNA or HHA certification preferred.
• RC II: Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field.
• One year of mental health experience preferred.
• CPR & First Aid and QMAP certifications.

Benefits & Compensation

• Hourly pay: $27.79 (RC I) to $30.12 (RC II).

Work Schedule

• Awake overnight shifts Sunday through Tuesday, 8pm to 8am.
• Weekend work required.
