Cardiologist

About the Role

Join ChenMed as a Cardiologist providing expert cardiovascular care primarily in ambulatory health care centers. You will lead care teams, manage chronic cardiovascular diseases, and collaborate with medical directors to improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care including echocardiogram reading and care coordination.
• Lead cardiovascular care teams including Care Promoters and mid-level providers.
• Manage chronic cardiovascular diseases for a panel of at least 5,000 patients.
• Participate in clinical rounds, conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coach and mentor primary care physicians in cardiology management.

Requirements

• MD or DO with board certification in Cardiology.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Cardiologist.
• Active unrestricted medical license in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to travel locally and nationally up to 15%.
