Physical Therapist

About the Role

The Physical Therapist position is based at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System's Clinical Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This role focuses on delivering high-quality pain physical therapy services to Veterans in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate patients' functional levels and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Conduct comprehensive examinations to identify rehabilitation problems and establish treatment goals.
• Participate in team rounds, in-service education, and maintain Pain Management Clinic equipment.
• Communicate regularly with other care staff and represent the Pain Management Department in meetings.
• Order and instruct on the use of Durable Medical Equipment.
• Perform ancillary program management duties occasionally.

Requirements

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Ability to maintain patient records per VA and JCO standards.
• Compliance with Pain Management and VA policies.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary range: $92,850 to $144,680 per year.
