Key Responsibilities
- Assess & Evaluate Patients: Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities.
- Develop & Implement Treatment Plans: Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions.
- Provide Therapeutic Activities: Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
- Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
