About the Role

This full-time Registered Nurse position focuses on acute care oncology patients on a 33-bed medical surgical unit. The role involves night shifts from 7pm to 7am, providing compassionate, holistic nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for oncology patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain continuity of care across shifts and departments.

Requirements

• Graduation from accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid Texas RN License or Eligible Compact License.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN required or must be obtained within 3 years of hire.
• Completion of UMC Chemo Certificate Course within 1 year.
