Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible
This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.
About the Role
Join Akicita Federal, LLC as a Tsaile Health Center needs (1) Family Practice Physician nonpersonal service in United States. The Family Practice Physician will provide uninterrupted outpatient medical services to support the mission of the Indian Health Service. This role involves providing high-quality, comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages within the Navajo community.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Provide a full range of family practice services, including preventive care, acute care, chronic disease management, mental health services, and minor surgical procedures.
- Diagnosis & Treatment: Perform patient interviews and physical examinations, review medical histories, and order/interpret diagnostic tests to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Patient Volume: Manage a typical patient load of approximately 16 patients per day, with 30
- minute appointment slots.
Requirements
- Education/Training: Must have completed thirty
- six (36) months of Family Practice Physician Residency Training in the United States.
- Experience: Minimum of twelve (12) months of professional experience in family practice. Previous experience with the Indian Health Service is preferred.
- Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Family Practice.
