About the Role

Join Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center as a Registered Dietitian – New Haven, CT in United States. Title: Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) Location: New Haven, CT. Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center is looking add a Full Time Registered Dietitian to our Nutrition team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual nutrition counseling tailored to the specific needs of each patient, with particular attention and sensitivity to the cultural food practices of an ethnically diverse population.
  • Teach classes to assist and educate patients in self
  • management and monitoring of diabetes, weight management, and other disease focused dietary needs.
  • Assist in development of diabetes prevention programing, general curriculum, and educational tools.

Requirements

  • Work well independently and with interdisciplinary team, including medical and support staff, to provide services and prioritize patient care.
  • Maintain status as a Registered Dietitian by regularly participating in approved CEU activities.
  • Participate in peer review process.
  • Performs all other duties as required. Requirements:
