About the Role
Join AgeWays as a SHIP Counselor – Hybrid, Excellent PTO in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- include the recruitment, onboarding, training, support and retention of volunteers adequate to serve Medicare beneficiaries within the assigned geographic region.
- This includes scheduling and management of Open Enrollment events, community outreach, and regular counseling at community venues within the assigned region.
- The Team Lead would also provide day-to-day management of the FUSE log ensuring that beneficiaries are connected to appointments and appropriate counseling.
Requirements
- 2 years, preferred 3
- 5 years experience in Health/Human Service, Social Services or Health Admin non
- profit setting. In addition, 3
- 5, volunteer management, and outreach support. Must complete SHIP counseling certification within 6 months of hire. Knowledge of Medicare and long
