Key Responsibilities

• The BHC is an integral member of the primary care team whose role is to help address a broad spectrum of behavioral health needs in the primary care patient population.

• Their goal is to aid in early identification and provide problem focused interventions that promote wellness and long-term prevention for as many patients as possible.

Requirements

• Education: Master of Social Work degree from an accredited school of social work, Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical experience or healthcare related field.

• Skills: Screen for common mental health problems.

• Able to conduct Cognitive-Behavioral or solution focused interventions.

• Recognizes and advocates for patients regarding behavioral health strategies/interventions to the referring PCP.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $87K - $127K
